Sarah Green has worked in child welfare, juvenile justice, community mental health, and gender-based violence. Her vision of a just society was further inspired as a student at democratically-run Shimer College. She went on to earn an MA in social work from the University of Chicago and works as a psychotherapist. She is currently an MFA candidate in poetry at Colorado State University, and is interested in art and oral history as means for personal, social and political change. Originally from Georgia, she lives in Los Angeles.
